I'm stopping by tonight to share a card with you...

I followed the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch...

and the theme from Simon Says Stamp...anything goes

I randomly stamped the background with a flower stamp set from Jane's Doodles, Anemone.  I stamped the images with black ink from memento and colored them with Copic Markers. For the petals I used shades R14, R17, R29 and R59. The leaves were shaded with YG63 and YG67. The flower centers were colored with T9 and I added some white accents with a gel pen.

I ombre'd some cardstock with Copic Markers in shades BG15, BG18, T9 and some colorless blender than used Lil'Inker Designs die to cut the 'hello' sentiment.  The 'gorgeous' sentiment is from WPlus9. It was embossed with white embossing powder.

After the card base was colored, I die cut the center panel with Lil'Inker's stitched rectangle die. I scattered some sequins from Lucy's Little Shop and clear drops from Papertrey Ink.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

My family and I returned home from a trip to Florida where we visited some family. What a fantastic time we had!!! The kids had the week off from school and the weather was beautiful!!

As I was doing tons of laundry I made sure to multi-task and get inky too! 

I couldn't pass on this month's Papertrey Ink's blog hop...

I LOVE the attention to detail some people have when arranging pieces for a photo...amazing!

I went along with the wedding theme...

All stamps and dies are from PTI. for the sentiments I used Grand Ampersand and Mat Stack 2. I embossed them with gold powder. 

I used the set Leaf Prints and stamped the background with a small leaf and gray flannel ink from Memento. Than I switched to the larger leaves and used Colorbox inks in boysenberry, orchid and green moss.

I layered the leaves and added some gold thread. For the finishing touch I scattered some clear drops from PTI and gold sequins from Lucy's shop.

Now I'll wait patiently for someone to get married, lol!

Hello Birthday Girl

Hello there!

Today I have the honor of guest designing with AAA Cards!!!!

I'm so happy to be here!

This weeks challenge is watercolor...

I created this birthday card for my daughter who celebrated her 15th birthday a few days ago...my, how time flies!!!

I stamped these mini floral bouquets from Jane's Doodles, with black ink from memento onto watercolor cardstock.

I watercolored the blooms and leaves with Ranger distress inks in picked raspberry and peeled paint. I embellished with some spots of yellow ink using a Copic Marker. I also added some white accents with a gel pen and scattered some clear drops from Pretty Pink Posh.

The sentiment stamp is from WPlus9. I die cut the panels using Avery Elle's Sweet Scallops Dies and Wonky Stitches Dies.

Hello again crafters!

Today is the last day of the Paper Sweeties February Release!

Sweet Cuts-Basket Add-On: Hoppy Easter

I had such a blast creating these Easter cards...these images have become a favorite of mine!!! I combined a few previously released sets...Hippity Hoppity Easter Wishes, and Sweet Cuts Dies Hippity Hoppity Easter Wishes, Let's go to the Beach, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and Tree of Life.

I stamped all the images with black ink from Memento and colored them with Copic Markers. I added white accents with a gel pen. I stamped the lamb twice.  Than trimmed his head to layer over the bowtie for dimension.

Other supplies used: stitched scalloped border die from Mama Elephant

Febuary 15: Paper Sweeties Febuary 2017 New Release Party!

Hello again!

Welcome back to the Paper Sweeties February Release!

The new release is available in the Sweeties Shop today!

I couldn't resist making up some treat bags...a prelude to the ones I wil recreate for Easter, lol!

Preferably, I will have some yummy Easter candy! However, the kids totally loved the Hershey Kiss bags!!! 

I stamped the bunnies with black ink from Memento and colored them with Copic markers. I added a bow to all three...a cute hair accent for the girls and a bowtie for the little guy! I added some white accents with a gel pen.

I added the bunnies to Sweet Cuts-Stitched Tags #1,  the carrots and eggs are from the set Wagon Add-On: Bloom and Grow. I embellished the tags with some ribbon, twine, buttons and mini clothspins.

I am adding this to Tag You're It...my inspiration was the furry animal

Febuary 14: Paper Sweeties Febuary 2017 New Release Sneak Peeks!

Hey there!

It's sneak peek time with Paper Sweeties!

I KNOW you are going to LOVE this month's release...just in time for Easter!!!

Debbie has created one new stamp set and coodinating die set...

Basket Add-on: Hoppy Easter
Basket Add-on: Hoppy Easter Sweet Cuts

The set includes five Easter eggs (shown), large and small bow (shown), banner (shown), the cutest peeking bunny (shown below), a flower bloom and four sentiments ( one shown here, one below). I colored the bows, banner and eggs with Copic Markers. I added glitter to the eggs.  I stamped the images with black ink from Memento.

I used two other dies from previous releases... Sweet Cuts Basket and Sweet Cuts- Sweet Borders. I watercolored the basket with frayed burlap distress ink. I used the scallop border die to die cut some pattern paper  to resemble a fabric basket liner. 

Here is that stinkin' cute bunny!!!! Just LOVE him!!!  I added a few extra's from previously released sets... the 'Hello' banner is from Wagon Add-On: Bloom and Grow, the cloud and grass are from Sweet Cuts Let's go to the Beach .

I used memento black ink and Copic Markers to color. I added some white accents with a gel pen. 

Other supplies used: pattern paper from My Favorite Things and stitched scalloped border die from Mama Elephant.

Just stopping by to share a quick card with you...well, not so quick!

I'm playing along with a few challenges...

SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge

I used the sets Best of Cluck,  and Sweet Sentiments- Home, both SugarPea Designs. The polka dot pattern paper is My Mind's Eye. I stitched the perimeter before adhering to the card base.

I stamped my little 'happy home' scene with black ink from Memento than colored them with Copic Markers. Love me this pink hen house! Maybe it's their vacation home in the Bahamas?! I fussy cut the mom and dad body and added some foam tape for dimension. I added some white accents with agel pen.

I die cut the circles with My Favorite Things stitched circle dies than followed the sketch above. A few finishing touches...some cord from Michaels and sequins from Lucy's Little Shop.

Paper Sweeties Challenge - February 2017 Anything goes!

Hello there!!

Happy February 1st!!!

Let's kick off the month with a new Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge...anything goes!

 

I can't wait to see what you will create with this anything goes challenge!!!!

I used the heart as inspiration for my card. I die cut some yummy textured cardstock with Sweet Cuts, With Love Die .  The sentiment is from the set Hello Friend. I used black ink from Memento.

I used the holly die from Sweet Cuts Holly Days as a mask before I cut the shape of the leaves. I inked it up with Color Box inks in moss green and green.

For the base of my card I stitched together some pattern papers from My Mind's Eye and Simple Stories.  I embellished the card with some white cord, a few light pink cherry blossoms and a few gems.

I am entering this into the Inkspiration Challenge...polka dots
