You Make the World a Better Place

Hey there!

I bet you're playing along with Papertrey Ink's January Blog Hop
I have to be honest, I could not decide what I wanted to create.
There were so many ideas I just could not execute them precisely!
So, this is what I came up with...
I really liked the color combo and opted to go with circles. I used some Spellbinders dies as a stencil and inked up watercolor cardstock. I used distress inks in Peacock Feathers and Spiced Marmalade than added some splashes of water. I die cut the rectangle panel with Lil'Inker's stitched rectangle die.

My Papertrey Ink supplies are Lovely Layers stamps and dies, Year of Flowers: Roses sentiment, linen vellum, and rustic twine. I die cut the flower with vellum than embossed it with white powder. I added some mini sequins to the center and scattered some others. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

Can't wait to hop along and see what everyone created!

Thanks for taking a peek!!!

For my something new, I used Die-Namics zig zag stitched square stax from My Favorite Things.
I inked it up with Ranger distress ink in mustard seed than splashed it with some water and there you go...
I cut a piece of PTI vellum with a scalloped die from Mama Elephant. My white cardstock base is from Recollections.
The lovely flowers and leaves are from Lawn Fawn, Flutter by. I stamped them with Memento black ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I scattered some clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and tied a twine bow.

January 15: Paper Sweeties January 2016 Release Party!

Hello again!!!
Welcome back to Day 3 of the Paper Sweeties January Release!!!

Today is the day the new release is available for purchase in the Sweeties Shop!!!

Today I am using With Love Stamps and With Love Sweet Cuts.
By far, one of the simplest cards to create!!! I die cut the heart two times, once with gingham the second with vellum. Than swapped the center hearts, glued into position than added some zig zag faux stitches.
I also added some faux stitches around the perimeter with a white gel pen. I stamped the sentiment using black ink from Memento. I scattered some sequins found in the Sweeties Shop! The flowers are from my stash...they're pretty old.  The decorative is from stash also. Lastly, I added some twine.

Hope you can hop along to the designer's blogs to check out their awesomeness!!!!

January 14: Paper Sweeties January 2016 Release Countdown!

Hello there!
Welcome back to day 2 of the Paper Sweeties January Release

Here are the newest sets that will be available tomorrow for purchase...

Creating this card was the most fun I have had stamping!!!!  I used stamps and dies from Sweet Treats Stamps and Sweet Treats Sweet Cuts except for the globe holding the gumballs. That's from Snow Time Sweet Cuts Dies. It coordinate perfectly with the gunball machine!!!
I stamped the images with black ink from Memento and colored everything with Copic Markers. I added some white accents with a gel pen. I cut a piece of acetate with the snow globe die and adhered it over the gumballs.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!
Come hop along and check out what the designers created!!!

Debbie has created two new stamp sets with coordinating Sweet Cuts Dies!!!

This new With Love Stamp Set is a MUST have for Valentine's Day!!!! I embossed it with white embossing powder and then trimmed the heart along the scallops.  I added some faux stitches and colored the eyelet spaces with some colored pencils.
The sentiment is from the set Sweet Treats. I filled up a mini milk jar with some Valentine Hershey Kisses. I purchased the milk jar from Michaels.

I embellished the milk jar with a big aqua bow, some bakers twine, a button, pin and mini clothes pin!!! This is a great idea for teachers gifts for my kids...I'll just switch up the sentiment!
