Sending Smiles...

Good evening all!

Hope you enjoyed a relaxing weekend!
It was anything but relaxing here. Lots of soccer and driving. We are gearing up for some tournaments next weekend...keep your fingers crossed!

Here is a card I created using the inspiration from Curtain Call...


So I whipped out my Mama Elephant stamps, Up And Away. And some very vibrant papers from Echo Park, Splendid Sunshine and Carta Bella, Sew Lovely.


All cardstock, twine and button are from Papertrey Ink.  I inked up the image and sentiment with black ink from Hero Arts,  And Copic Markers were used ro color the balloons and bunny.

The ribbon is from Michaels. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

May 16: Paper Sweeties May Release Rewind!

Hello again...
Glad you stopped by again!
Today is the last day of the Paper Sweeties Release...hope you enjoyed the new release!

Today's card I used a mix of old and new stamps and dies...


I used the paper pad Splendid Sunshine from Echo Park. These pattern papers go perfectly with the Bloom and Grow stamp set! I am so pleased Debbie added these coordinating dies...especially the banner, wagon and carrots!!!
I used black ink from Hero Arts and Copic Markers to color the images. Cardstock is from Papertrey Ink.
I followed the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches...

A Good Day...

Good morning to you...feeling pretty lousy today. The weather is quite dreary.

So I am just sitting at my laptop enjoying a cup of coffee...

I am also playing along with The Card Concept...coffee theme. My style today is the free style collage.


and the colors from ColourQ...

Here we go...

I love this sentiment! I find it to be true! It is from Papertrey Ink, Latte Love. The steam is from Lil' Inker Designs. I inked up the background using a stencil from Heidi Swapp. The inks are from Color Box, sky blue and mudslide.

The pattern paper is from Carta Bella, Sew Lovely. I scattered some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and enamel dots from My Mind's Eye. And added some gold mist splats from Heidi Swapp.

May 15: Paper Sweeties May Release Party!

Hello again!!!
Welcome to day three of the Paper Sweeties May Release! Today is a fun day...the stamps are available for purchase in the Sweeties Shop!!! Yippeee!!!

For today's project I am using Feel Better Soon stamp set...

I picked up some of these tiny gift boxes from Michaels a few months ago. I knew they eventually I would use them!

I die cut a tag , stamped the 'Sending You' sentiment than gave it a little spritz of gold misting spray from Heidi Swapp.

I embellished the tags with some lovely twine in peppermint and licorice and sequins from the Sweeties Shop! I filled up these treat boxes with some candy to surprise my little niece who has a cold. The ink is from Hero Arts. The tulle is from Michaels. The cardstock is from Papertrey Ink. The tag die is Mama Elephant.

May 14: Paper Sweeties May Release Countdown!

Hello again!
Welcome back to day two of the Paper Sweeties May Release!

This is a great release...I am always in need of get well soon cards!

Today I am using Sorry You're Sick stamp set...

These sets have been so much fun to play around with. From the tissue box to the band aid... a blast!!! I used papers from Fancy Pants, Beloved.

I stamped the images with black ink from Hero Arts and colored them in with Copic Markers.  For a finishing touch I added some sequins.

I followed the sketch from Retro Sketches...

May13: Paper Sweeties May Release Sneak Peeks!

Hello there!

It's that time again...a new release with Paper Sweeties!!!!
Debbie has created two new stamp sets and a set of sweet cuts dies that coordinate with a previous set!

Today I am showing you what I created using Feel Better Soon and Sorry You're Sick...
I also used Sophie.

After I stamped the images with Hero Arts black ink I used Copic Markers to color them in. The cardstock is Papertrey Ink. The enamel dots are My Minds Eye.

Hello

Hello there crafters!

Just stopping by to share with you a card I created for two challenges...

Curtain Call...


and Freshly Made Sketches...

I really miss my old computer. I am such a creature of habit...I hate having to get use to something new.  Or, I could just be really stubborn!
But anyway...

I used some stamps from Papertrey Ink, Autumn Pattern Pieces and Embroidered Blooms. Other stamps are from WPlus9, Banner Love.

The tag die is from Mama Elephant. All the pretty sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh, Sweetheart Mix. I used inks from Color Box, gold, orchid and scarlet. Cardstock is also PTI. The twine is from The Ribbon Reel.

The rounded corner punch is Fiskars.

Hello

Hey there!

Ok, I got a new laptop...I am using google chrome. All I have to say is I have ALOT to learn. I can edit photos with the software that comes with the computer...Pixlr Editor....very intimidating!!! If you have used this version and have any tips or recommendations it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!

Ok, I still need to work on editing the brightness. All cardstock is from Papertrey Ink. The circle stamps are also PTI, Polka Dot Basics lll. The sentiment is from WPlus9, Hand Lettered Hello. For the inks I used Color Box moss green and harbor, Memento nautical blue, and Hero Arts black. I scattered some sequins from Neat & Tangled Stamps.

All stamps are from Avery Elle, Ikat Additions and Bright Days. I used inks from Memento in lilac posies and teal zeal, and Color Box in curry.

All cardstock is from Papertrey Ink. The alphabet stickers are from Studio 112. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

Sending Smiles Across the Miles

Hello again!

Another post...another entry for the Mama Elephant Challenge...

For this card I went with the beach theme...


All stamps and dies are from Mama Elephant, Honey Bunny Stamp Set and Creative Cuts, Embellished Tags Creative Cuts, Up and Away Stamp Set and Sunny Skies Stamp Set.


All cardstock is from Papertrey Ink. The pattern paper is from Carta Bella Sew Lovely. I created the background using a Heidi Swapp stencil, Heidi Swapp color shine mist in gold and ink from Color Box in sky. Black ink is Hero Arts. The little glass vial is from Tim Holtz. I filled it up with some sugar and piece of paper. I inked up the edges with soft brown shadow ink from Hero Arts.


The cord is from Michaels. The enamel dots are My Mind's Eye. I used a corner punch from Fiskars.

...All the Love Songs...

Day 5 and still no laptop....grrrrrrr!!!
Hopefully tomorrow...so please forgive the less than perfect images...I am lost without photo shop!!!

So I am not sure if you've heard... this month's challenge over at Mama Elephant is for a 6 month term on their design team....HOLY SMOKES!!!!!

I waited for a few stamps and dies to arrive before I created my card...

The adorable penguins and sentiment are from Love Quotes, the hearts are from Love Quotes and Sunny Skies, umbrella and coordinating die are from Up and Away and the frames dies are Femme Frames. I also used Confetti Creative Cuts to cut some clear hearts from acetate.

I used black ink from Hero Arts. Other inks are from Color Box surf, Papertrey Ink hawaiian shores and classic kraft, WPlus9 lake house. I also used a bunch of Copic Markers to color the images. All cardstock is from PTI. The clear acetate is also PTI.

Best Wishes

Hey there!!

Hope you have some great plans for the weekend! We have a couple of soccer games...nothing much else happens until soccer season is over!

I'm just playing along with Color Throwdown...

and also playing along CAS-ual Fridays...three thirds. I split my card into thirds from top to bottom...


I used the stamp set Thanks a Bunch from Avery Elle. Inks from Hero Arts, black, soft blossom and soft yellow.  All cardstock and twine are from Papertrey Ink.

 I added some glitter to the centers of the flowers, Martha Stewart glitter. The sequins are from Neat & Tangled Stamps.
Sorry for the lousy pictures...My computer crashed and I am using my husbands work computer in the meantime. I am unable to upload photoshop...brighten up my photos or add a watermark...grrrr!!!

Paper Sweeties May Inspiration Challenge #18 - 'Cupcakes & Sprinkles'

Hey there!

I cannot believe it is May 1st!!!
The weather has been so lousy, just makes you want to hop on a plane and go somewhere warm and inviting!
Or, you can play along with the Paper Sweeties May Inspiration Challenge...


I have been loving shaker cards lately...

And the cupcake from the Paper Sweeties stamp set, Sending Sweet Thoughts, was perfect for this! I used the candles on top of the cake from the set Celebrate. The sentiment is from the set Cupcakes and Sprinkles.

These fun sequins are from the Paper Sweeties Shop too, frosting, gold and peppermint. The twine is from the Shop, peppermint. All dies are Spellbinders. I used Copic Markers to color in the cupcake and candles.

The pretty pattern papers are from Fancy Pants Beloved ( blue triangles) and Echo Park Splendid Sunshine ( chevrons and pink polka dots). All cardstock is from Papertrey Ink.  Black ink is Hero Arts.
