Grateful for You

Hello there!
Hope you are enjoying a nice start to your weekend!
I have a card to share with you ( no kidding, right!)

Enough said!!!!
So, I used the tree trunk die and leaf die from the  Tree of Life Sweet Cuts, the sentiment is from Hello Friend. I used stitched rectangle dies from Lil' Inker Designs to create the frame. Black ink is Memento.
I used white cardstock and vellum from Recollections. The colored the cardstock and button are from Papertrey Ink.  The sequins are a mix from Pretty Pink Posh and Martha Stewart.

I followed the color palette from Colour Me...!
and the theme from Just Add Ink...

Congratulations, Baby Love

Hey there!

TGIF...and a rainy start to the weekend...but who cares?! I am in need of some R&R this weekend. I have been hit with a bout of insomnia. And by noon I feel like a zombie. 

Well, I have a few cards to share with you for a few challenges. Hope you like!

I used the stamp sets Knick Knacks, Shadows, Scripty Sayings and Sentiment Sampler from Paper Smooches. Cardstock and pattern paper is from Recollections. Sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh. The buttons are from Michaels.
I used inks from Hero Arts in soft blossom and soft sand shadow ink, black ink is Memento. I used Copic Markers in shades of R81, R83, R85, YR000, E31, E33, and E74. I added some dimension with liquid pearls in white opal. White stitches made with a white gel pen.

For this card I used only Knick Knack and Scipty Sayings stamp sets from Paper Smooches. The cardstock, pattern paper and vellum are from Recollections. The dies to create the shaker window are Spellbinders. The border punch is Fiskars. Button and twine are from Michaels.


I used a mix of sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and Martha Stewart. Copic markers in shades R81, R83, R85, YR000, E31 and E33. Black ink is Memento. White stitches made with a white gel pen.

April 16: Paper Sweeties April Release Rewind!

Hello...
Today is the last day of the Paper Sweeties April Release...boo hoo!!

Here are the newest sets:


It's so hard to choose which stamps to use from these sets...they are all soooooo cute!!!
After I die cut the tree trunk I embossed the heart with white embossing powder. 


Have I told you how much I love these birds!!! Check out the wheelbarrow!!! S-Weet!!!


The sentiments are from the set Hello Friend.  I added some sequins to the tree.

April 15: Paper Sweeties April Release Party!

Hello again!
Welcome back to Day 3 of the Paper Sweeties April Release!
Today is the day the stamps and dies are available for purchase in the Sweeties Shop!!!


Did I mention how much fun these stamps are??!! The tree stamp alone makes me grin from ear to ear! Than you add the flower, the birds, the birdhouse...swooning!!!! 

I used some inks from Color Box in moss green and espresso. Black ink is from Memento and I used Copic Markers and a white gel pen. The sentiment is perfect for this time of year!!! The beautiful peppermint twine is from the Sweeties Shop! 

I am also playing along with AAA Cards...spring theme!

The pattern paper and cardstock are from Recollections. The circle and scalloped dies are Spellbinders.

April 14: Paper Sweeties April Release Countdown!

Hello there!
Welcome back to Day 3 of the Paper Sweeties April Release!

I created something a little bit different than I usually do...

I followed the sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches...I hope this is CAS


I have been drawn to Cardinals these days...just love how regal they are! I used black ink from Memento and Copic Markers to color. Than I added some white dots to the center of the flowers with a gel pen. I used inks from Hero Arts in cup o' joe and soft brown shadow inks.

  The sentiment is from the Paper Sweeties set Make Today Beautiful.  The pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye. The cardstock is from Recollections.

April 13: Paper Sweeties April Release Sneak Peeks!

Hello there Paper Sweeties fans!!!

Have you missed us?!
I hope so! ;)
It's day one of the Paper Sweeties April Release!
Well, hold onto your seat...you will LOVE this months new release!!!!
There are two new stamp sets and two coordinating sweet cuts dies
Tree of Life Add-on: spring Sweet Cuts


This has been the most fun I have had creating cards! These stamps and dies are wonderful! I used the tree trunk die and some pattern paper from My Mind's Eye to make a birch tree. The leaves were cut with a leaf die and some cardstock. 
I followed the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch...

I inked up the sweet birdhouse and bird with black ink from Memento and some Copic Markers.
I added some whie accents with a white gel pen and placed a tiny twine bow on the branch.
I inked up some oatmeal cardstock with Color Box ink in sky blue and used a mask to create the blue sky. 

I am also adding this to Addicted to Stamps Challenge...

Special Delivery

Hey there!
Just stopping by to share a quick post with you...
one card for three challenges!

The card...
I used a few stamp manufacturers...the balloons from Mama Elephant, Up and Away; the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink ( I think the set is retired); the envelope die is from Sugar Pea Designs, Special Delivery.

The oatmeal cardstock is PTI, white cardstock and vellum are Recollections. The scallope rectangle die is Mama Elephant. The stitched rectangle die is Lil'Inker Designs. Black ink is Memento and I used a whole bunch of Copic Markers.  I added some white highlights with a white gel pen.
