Happy Birthday

Hi there!

It's time for a new color palette from ColourQ!
Hope you will play along with us this week!

I wanted to create my own watercolored background. So I taped up a piece of watercolored cardstock and used distress ink in salty ocean....
and you got yourself a watercolored striped background! After the cardstock dried, I used a stitched scallop rectangle die from Mama Elephant to cut the panel.
The die cut flowers are from Simon Says Stamp, Single Roses. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches, Sentiment Sampler. Black ink is memento, doily is from Michaels, the sequins and clear drops are from Pretty Pink Posh.

I am adding this to CASology

Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Holiday Wishes

Hello there!
Kids go back to school in two weeks. So I am just soaking up as much craft time as I can before the craziness begins!
I just received some happy mail from Avery Elle and could not wait to ink them up...
I used the set Sweet Tidings, Avery Elle.  I stamped the images using black ink from Memento and colored them with Copic Markers.  I used R81, R83, R27, R59, BG11, BG13, G03, G05, E40, E25, E70, and E74.  I added some white accents with a gel pen.  I scattered some sequins from Little Things from Lucy's Card Shop.
I inked up the background with distress ink in antique linen and passion pink from Color Box. It's very subtle and I wish I went a little darker. The frame die is also Avery Elle, Postage Stamp.
I am playing with the theme from

and Happy Little Stampers...anything goes with dies

Thanks for stopping by for a peek!!!

You Brighten My Day

Hello there!

Just stopping by to share a card with you.
I was able to link up with a few challenges...
I followed the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch...

and the theme from Addicted to Stamps and More...

I started off with a puffy cloud border die from Lawn Fawn and cut a panel of linen cardstock from Papertrey Ink. I adhered it over blue cardstock and stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp, Watts Up. I used black ink from Memento.
The sun die is from My Favorite Things and the star die is from Lil'Inker Designs.  The rainbow and cloud stamp and die are from Avery Elle, Be a Unicorn. I colored the rainbow with some Copic Markers.
I scattered some sequins and clear drops for the finishing touch!
I am also adding this to Simon Says Stamp...Make for the Border
